We greet you on behalf of "Transsiberian Intermodal Service". Our company "Transsiberian Intermodal Service" (TIS) was founded in October 1998. TIS acts as a common intermodal operator for containers' transportations for the forwarders, deep-sea carriers and cargoowners throughout Asia, Europe and America, "TIS" is a member of the international Coordinating Council on Transsiberian Transportation and takes an active part in its work. In accordance with the decision of the Tender Committee of Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation "TIS" is declared to be an official forwarder for transit and export/import cargoes on the Transsiberian Landbridge.
TIS uses agreements and partner relationships with all railroad administrations of the CIS, Baltic countries, Finland and Mongolia, with deep-sea carriers and sea ports, with the border stations, customs declarants and with administrations of some foreign railways adjacent to the CIS rail network. Based upon these agreements "TIS" proposes a complex package of services to the clients and competes with deep-sea carriers at European - Asian route.
We provide a complex of transportation services for our clients with positioning of empty shipperowned and RZD's containers for loading and completing all necessary operations, preplanning and ordering for containers and wagons, through rates payments, wagons and containers tracing up to door delivery and provision of the necessary information to the clients by E-mail and Internet.
We pay special attention to information services provided for the clients. A computer network unites "TIS" operation managers with computer centers of Russian regional railways, railways of the CIS, Baltic containers, Finland and Mongolia, offices at the container transloading stations, agents and deep-sea carries. Any clients from any place throughout the world can reach all necessary information depicting positions and statues of its containers automatically and for 24 hours a day via Internet global network providing coded parole.
In addition there are "TIS" dispatchers who work in a continuos contact with dispatchers of RF Ministry of Railways and CIS railways providing joint operational measures for elimination of traffic delays.
